Nadja Škrk  joined the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Food and Safety, Veterinary Sector, and Plant Protection in 2013 where she is responsible for coordination of official control on food safety (FNAO) and food quality, including fraudulent practices. As responsible for national contact point for  EU RASFF (Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed), AAC (Administrative-assistance cooperation) / FF (Food fraud) networks she has an overview into different issues related to honey. She is also involved in management of  food fraud cases on a national and EU level. She holds a master degree in Environmental Sciences.
