After completing her scientific studies on agriculture and the environment, Eleonora Bassi currently runs a small farm, works as a beekeeping technician in collaboration with a number of Italian associations and is on the editorial board of the beekeeping magazine l'apis (www.lapisonline.it). In the beekeeping field, she is generally involved in advising companies and dealing with honeybee colonies problems, with particular reference to environmental issues. In this field, since 2017, she has been participating in an environmental Biomonitoring project coordinated by Aspromiele (Regional Association of Beekeeping Producers of Piedmont).
