Benoit Biteau

Benoît Biteau comes from a line of farmers on the banks of the Seudre, in the heart of the prestigious Marennes-Oléron oyster basin and its remarkable wetlands.

An agricultural engineer, agronomy is his transversal skill, but he is also a specialist in genetics, ecology and water management.

After many professional experiences in the public and private sectors, in the world of economic development, research and the preservation of biodiversity, he became a farmer at the age of 40 on a very intensive farm that he successfully converted to agro-ecology.

He is now a Member of the European Parliament, sitting in the Agricultural, the Fisheries and the International Development Committees.
