Alain Maquet

Dr Alain Maquet is working at the European Commission and more specifically at the Directorate General Joint Research Centre in Geel, Belgium. He is a scientific project manager leading the Food authenticity team generating knowledge in support of colleagues from the European Commission; and coordinating networks of experts of the Member States (e.g. European Reference Centre for Control in the Wine Sector). Currently they are carrying out research on the authenticity of wine, honey, olive oil, and spices/herbs.
